About High Achievers 

High Achiever's Network started as part of a larger group of companies who were promoting various one day seminars. We soon became the largest producer of one day seminars, promoting speakers such as Tom Hopkins, Brian Tracy, and Tony Robbins.

Initially, programs ran from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. With mostly commissioned sales people attending, you can imagine the challenges that these hours presented. To take a whole day out of the field was costly in terms of lost sales to these professionals. Add to that the price of admission, and it often affected their bottom line in the hundreds if not thousands.

Another challenge was enduring the length of the programs. What do you suppose the average sales person’s attention span is? Studies have shown that the average attention span in a controlled learning environment is maxed out in a 2 to 3 hour period.  Anything over that tends to be lost.  So you can imagine taking in 8 hours of ideas and being expected to apply them for the whole next year. It was like taking a drink of water from a fire hose! Many people would leave after lunch, and those who stayed would have more information than they could reasonably use.

Everybody got some great ideas, and got motivated for a while, but typically 2, 3, or even 4 weeks after the program, people would slowly drift back to their own habits with no lasting changes. We learned that simply attending an occasional one-day sales program didn't have the same impact that people were looking for long term.

Here’s what we did: We put together a complete collection of some of North America's top speakers and trainers and asked them to come into the Southwest on a regular basis. We shortened the programs, and hold them all from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. We made them easier to get to. Professionals no longer have to take a whole day off work to go out and get some new ideas and sharpen their skills. Every other month we bring in a different speaker on a different topic, covering strategic selling, time management, negotiation, customer service and much more. In so doing, we give salespeople ongoing training throughout the whole year instead of just giving a one time shot in the arm and hoping that it sticks.

We really believe that nothing changes overnight. It takes each person’s commitment to excellence, and over time, you can create success habits that will be lasting and significant. We finally have a system where the ideas can be cultivated and nursed to fruition. Professionals are permanently changing their sales, attitudes, and results.

Come early for the "Networking Hour" from 5:30 - 6:30 PM, where we serve complementary refreshments and hors d’oeuvres. Relationships with other professionals begin here, and flourish. Many business owners, managers and top sales people attend, and you’ll walk away with business cards, referrals, and sometimes a sale. Others come just to unwind before the program.
